Warren Buffett meets Sherlock Holmes

Johnny Hart and Brant Parker

The Wizard of Id was created in 1964 when cartoonist Johnny Hart decided to revamp his already popular B.C. comic strip. Whilst B.C. was a prehistoric parody of modern man's foibles, the Wizard of Id brought it one step closer by changing the setting from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages. The pair have worked together on the comic strip since 1964. Since then, it has won several Best Humour Strip Awards from the National Cartoonist Society and is syndicated to more than 1,000 newspapers worldwide.
